Dr. Regina Nrekaj has recently acquired this practice from Dr. Stephen Harris. As you already know, Dr. Harris has been in this location for over 30 years and has decided to retire. Although ownership has changed, the message stays the same. We are dedicated to making your Dental Health a comfortable and worry free experience. You are in good hands with Dr. Nrekaj!
Dr. Regina Nrekaj is a University of Detroit Mercy Graduate of the School of Dentistry. She is a Michigan native born and raised in the Greater Metro Detroit area. After achieving her doctorate, Dr. Nrekaj practiced in the State of Connecticut for 10 years. Despite the happiness, comfort, and beauty of New England, Michigan always was home, and Dr. Nrekaj returned back to Michigan in 2020. Since then she has been practicing locally in hopes of finding the perfect ideological fit for her practice.
Now that she has found the perfect fit in Dr. Harris' practice, Dr. Nrekaj's message in dentistry will resonate with all of her patients. Her goal that drives her every single morning, is to ensure the comfort and happiness of each and every single patient. That translates into an approach where she cares first and foremost about your oral well being, while taking a conservative treatment planning approach.
This approach is to apply a delicate balance of precautionary and reactionary dentistry, so that we ensure only the work absolutely necessary to your overall oral health is being completed. All being done in the most delicate manner possible to ensure that your are comfortable throughout your visit.

Meet Dr. Regina Nrekaj
Hello all!
I am excited to have this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Regina Z. Nrekaj. I am honored that Dr. Harris has chosen me to carry on his dental practice and that I have the opportunity to enable your best oral health.
Dr. Harris and I share a mutual commitment to the care of each and every one of our patients. My vision is to treat you like you are a part of my family and make you feel cared for just as Dr. Harris has done all these years. I take great pride in my dentistry, your comfort, your confidence, and a positive dental experience. I have chosen RZN Dental Care as the name of the practice.
I am lucky the staff that has served you so well under Dr. Harris will be providing me with their experience and expertise as I get to know you.
I would like to share a little bit about myself so you know me better. I was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. I attended high-school at Shrine of the Little Flower, studied Biology at Wayne State University for my undergraduate career then continued to University of Detroit Mercy to achieve my dental degree in the year of 2011. After dental school I ventured to the east coast where I met my husband Kristofer Nrekaj and lived and worked in the tristate area of New York and Connecticut. I have been practicing all aspects of dentistry now for a solid 11 years! With lots of dental experience under my belt.
On the personal side, I married my husband Kristofer in the year of 2012. We share three amazing children, named Michael and Christian and Olivia. Michael is our oldest child at 7 years of age, Christian is 5 years old, and Olivia was born on January of 2023! We lived in the state of Connecticut for 7 years prior to returning back to Michigan. We have been living in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for the past 4 years and now are extremely happy to call this practice our new home.
